At the GS1 Connect event in Orlando, Florida earlier this month, GSF received the 2024 Organization of the Year Award from AIM (Automatic Identification Manufacturers) North America, part of the global industry alliance for stakeholders of RFID, barcoding, smart devices, and other automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) technologies and supporting Blockchain, IoT, and RTLS applications. Nominated by Avery Dennison, GSF received the award from AIM North America Board Chair Jeanne Duckett, who presented it to Brian Dick, GSF President and CEO.
“We applaud the award winners on their vision and passion that continue to drive technology innovations and AIDC awareness and implementation,” said Mary Lou Bosco, CEO of AIM North America. “By actively sharing their insights, best practices, and success stories, Golden State Foods contributes to the collective advancement of the entire AIDC community.”
GSF earned the Organization of the Year Award for its technical innovation excellence and community service initiatives. In spearheading technological innovations in the food industry, GSF notably engaged with a key customer as a pioneering site in AIDC technologies. Extending beyond business success to encompass community engagement, environmental stewardship, and philanthropy, GSF exemplifies a comprehensive approach to corporate responsibility, setting a well-respected benchmark for the AIDC sector.
Established in 2013, this award recognizes an organization for its outstanding contributions and service that have furthered the growth of the AIDC industry. AIM’s Organization of the Year deserves special recognition for its achievements in serving the industry as a respected and responsible leader.
