Tanya Tan, also known by her Chinese name Tan Yuanfang, currently serves as the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for GSF China in Guangzhou. Her steadfast commitment to ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety have guided her career journey and supported the overall success of GSF’s food manufacturing businesses in China.
Tanya's journey began in 2003 when she joined the Guangzhou factory fresh out of the university as an assistant to the QA manager. Her dedication and expertise led to her promotion to QA Manager five years later. When GSF acquired the Guangzhou manufacturing facility in 2015, Tanya seamlessly transitioned into the GSF operation and values-based culture.
As GSF's customers expanded their business in China, GSF Fresh! grew and so did Tanya's responsibilities. From overseeing quality assurance at the Guangzhou factory to managing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) factories and the company’s new Wuhan produce products facility, Tanya's leadership has played an instrumental role in maintaining GSF's high standards across its growing operations in China.
Tanya's decision to stay with GSF throughout her career has resulted from the company's strong Values, particularly its unwavering commitment to food quality and safety. In late 2024, Tanya earned a promotion to Senior QA Manager for GSF China, taking on the responsibility of managing food safety and quality for KanPak, GSF’s dairy and beverages subsidiary, in addition to produce products. In her new role, she remains committed to implementing and enforcing the company's quality management system, building a stronger culture of food quality and safety, reducing product complaints, and ultimately improving product quality and customer satisfaction.
