What is Phishing?
Phishing is an attempt by a bad actor to trick you into giving them your username and password. They will use these credentials to try and cause harm to GSF. If you are ever suspicious or uncertain that something asking for your login is not legitimate, please do not enter your credentials. You can reach out to the GSF security team for confirmation at firstname.lastname@example.org
This site is asking me for my password, is it safe?
If the first part of the URL in your browser is https://goldenstatefoods.com then you are on a safe site.
The links and buttons on this site are also safe.
Examples are the “Setup SSPR“, “Reset my Password“, “CONTINUE TO SETUP” and “RESET MY PASSWORD” buttons on the various pages.
Once you click the “CONTINUE TO SETUP” or “RESET MY PASSWORD” buttons, it will redirect you to a site that is not hosted by GSF. This is correct behavior, the setup and reset process takes place on Microsoft-owned sites.
